Life by You: Early Access
Paradox Tectonic’s General Manager, Rod Humble, expressed his excitement about Life By You’s extensive customization options, which allow for unparalleled levels of storytelling. He eagerly anticipates seeing the imaginative creations that players will come up with during Early Access.
Humble possesses substantial experience in the Sims-style gaming industry. Prior to his current role, he served as the head of EA’s Sims label, before joining Second Life developer Linden Lab in 2010. While Life By You shares some similarities with The Sims, it distinguishes itself by adopting a more realistic approach to life simulation. Unlike The Sims, which is known for its cartoonish nature and penchant for catastrophe, Life By You aims to offer players a more earnest and authentic experience. Paradox explains that players can “drag and drop” their characters into the game or control them directly in third-person mode. They can live the life of one character or tell the stories of many, climb the career ladder, fall in love, and raise a family.
